Robert Williams is a traditional community barbershop originally founded here in Leigh on Sea, Essex in 1975.
We’re focused on precision haircuts, exceptional beard grooming, strong coffee and if you catch us at the right time, good whisky.
CLASSIC CUT, CLASSIC SERVICE.
The barbershop was originally founded in 1975 by David Finch. At that time David was one of the first barbers in Leigh on Sea. In April of 2017 James ‘Robert’ Bridge and Luke ‘William’ Strickland purchased this thriving business from David.
David had cut Luke’s hair from birth to adulthood and until his recent retirement still continued to cut hair alongside Luke, James and the rest of the Robert Williams team on a few select days per week.
In 2018 the shop was officially rebranded to Robert Williams Barbershop, the name being a combination of both owners middle names and also grandfathers first names respectively. Luke and James first met while learning the craft of barbering as apprentices together. After over a decade of friendship and cutting hair in various barbershops around the world they finally realised their dream of owning a real community barbershop together.
Robert Williams Barbershop was born.

PRICE LIST.
Haircut £25.00 (Under 16's £20)
Our standard service for the majority of clientele. The wash, if required, resets the hair to a neutral state and rids your hair of any bed-head, previously applied hair product or just a days work. This allows us to begin your highest quality haircut from a blank canvas.

Skin Fades +£2
For those looking to go extremely short on the sides we offer skin fades at an extra £2 for the time taken.
Single Grade Clipper Cut £15
For example a grade 2 all over the head. This service as with all others is finished by tapering the edges down to neat, natural lines and a straight razor neck shave.

Beard Trim / Sculpt £12
From short groomed stubble to a full chest length beard, we trim, tidy and sculpt all shapes and lengths here. We pride ourselves on the time and attention to detail taken with beards and are always on hand to offer recommendations on shape or required advice on growing your beard out. Finished with a quality beard oil.
